Kim Min Kyu Reportedly Lead Role In Upcoming Drama “Perfume”

On April 3, OSEN reported that Kim Min Kyu had received a casting offer for KBS’s upcoming drama “Perfume” and that he was reviewing the offer positively. If he accepts, it will be his first lead role in a drama that airs on a public broadcasting channel.

“Perfume” is about a middle-aged woman who loses her family after giving up her whole life for them and encounters a magical perfume that transforms her into a beautiful young woman. Shin Sung Rok has been cast as the male lead, a neurotic man who doesn’t have the courage to pursue love.

Go Jun Hee was under consideration for the role of the female lead, but turned it down, and Go Won Hee is now in talks for the role instead.

“Perfume” is expected to air after the end of “My Fellow Citizens!” in June.
