The First Script Reading JTBC’S Upcoming Melodrama

Melodrama 'The Wind Blows' is set to premiere on May 27 following Welcome to Waikiki 2.

Kim Ha Neul and Kam Woo Sung have taken the lead roles for the drama. Kam Woo Sung portrays the role of Do Hoon, who is married to Kim’s character Soo Jin. Upon discovering he has Alzheimer’s Disease, to save his wife from the heartache, he decides to divorce her instead. Years later, they meet again.

Even during the first meeting, the actors met with an empathetic synergy as they immediately embodied their characters. Each actor immersed themselves in their roles, causing excitement among the production crew.

Kam Woo Sung was the epitome of a man who lost his first love after his divorce. Everyone in the room was breathless and fully engaged in his performance. The actor’s gestures were rife with the emotions of a man who falls in love with the same woman twice.

The passionate acting of Kim Ha Neul was also breathtaking. The devastation of the unexpected divorce etched on her face, but was in deep contrast to the melodramatic first meeting of the ex-lovers after a few years.

Laughter also filled the room together with the emotionally-charged acting. The production crew was proud to pronounce that the journey has begun for The Wind Blows. In addition, they can’t help but wonder what kind of picture they are going to come up with as they begin filming.
