New and interesting illustrated posters from “Kokdu: Season of Deity” are taking a detour from the traditional teaser posters and are here to give viewers a unique look at the upcoming drama!
“Kokdu: Season of Deity” is a fantasy romance which tells the story of a grim reaper named Kokdu (Kim Jung Hyun) who comes down to this world to punish humans every 99 years. Kokdu meets Han Gye Jeol (Im Soo Hyang), a doctor with mysterious abilities, and starts working as a visiting doctor.
The newest posters depict the grim reaper Kokdu and the young doctor Do Jin Woo, both of whom will be played by Kim Jung Hyun, in different time settings. Han Gye Jeol is also present, and she is another doctor who is full of passion. What’s most eye-catching about these posters is their hand-drawn style, appearing to be straight out of a storybook or an old fairytale. The two posters are split between past and present: Kokdu and Han Gye Jeol in the past and Do Jin Woo and Han Gye Jeol again in the present. Despite many seasons having passed between the times of these posters, the characters remain largely unchanged. The warm greens of summer in the poster of the past and the cold blues of winter in the present are also points of interest, making viewers curious as to what exactly the connections are between these characters and how their stories began.
“Kokdu: Season of Deity” will premiere on January 27 at 9:50 p.m.
