New stills for CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa, Cha Tae Hyun, and Kwak Sun Young’s upcoming comedy-mystery drama have been revealed!
“Brain Works” is a brain science-themed comedy-mystery drama about two men who can’t stand each other but who must work together to solve a crime case involving a rare brain disease.
Jung Yong Hwa will play Shin Ha Ru, a brain scientist who possesses a very “extraordinary brain,” having everything except humanity. Cha Tae Hyun plays Geum Myung Se, a very nice and considerate detective with an “altruistic brain.” Finally, Kwak Sun Young plays Seol So Jung, a hypnotist who has a very “anxious brain,” unable to say the words she wants to because of his timidness.
The newest stills depict a very serious meeting between the three leads. Shin Ha Ru, Geum Myung Se, and Seol So Jung meet in the conference room of the neuroscience team and have their own meeting. Shin Ha Ru dons a very meaningful expression, his gaze intense as he speaks. Meanwhile, Geum Myun Se and Seol So Jung sit across from him, postures tense as they listen and remain on high alert for the sake of the investigation of an unsolved incident. It remains a mystery as to what kind of crime has caused these three to become so deeply troubled, and viewers can look forward to their first cooperative investigation.
Tune in to the premiere of “Brain Works” on January 2 at 9:50 p.m. KST!
