tvN’s “Yumi’s Cells” has shared a sneak peek of its highly-anticipated season finale!

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi—from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. Kim Go Eun plays the titular role of Yumi, an ordinary woman who struggles with expressing her feelings, while Ahn Bo Hyun stars as the straightforwardly honest game developer Goo Woong.

On the previous episode of “Yumi’s Cells,” Yumi began to consider breaking up with Goo Woong, but once she saw him in person, she was unable to bring herself to actually do it. In the end, she eventually told him that she wanted to take some time apart.

In newly released stills from the upcoming finale of the drama’s first season, Yumi and Goo Woong meet up again at the place where they shared their very first meeting all those months ago. Notably, Goo Woong’s appearance seems to have changed a bit, hinting that some time has passed since the day Yumi asked to take a break. The look in Yumi’s eyes as she gazes at Goo Woong also suggests that her feelings towards him have changed since that day.
