ENA’s “The Kidnapping Day” has teased Kang Ha Neul’s special appearance in the final episode!
Based on the novel of the same name, “The Kidnapping Day” is a black comedy about a special alliance between a blundering kidnapper and a genius 11-year-old girl. Yoon Kye Sang plays Kim Myung Joon, a first-time kidnapper who abducts an 11-year-old girl to raise money for his daughter’s hospital fees. Yoo Na of “Pachinko” plays genius girl Choi Ro Hee, who has a cynical and exceptional mind despite her young age and forms a strange bond with Kim Myung Joon.
Previously, Kim Myung Joon and Choi Ro Hee had a tearful farewell. Jayden (Kang Young Seok), who was looking for Director Choi’s laptop, found out that Kim Myung Joon, Choi Ro Hee, and Park Sang Yoon (Park Sung Hoon) were together and reported it through Seo Hye Eun (Kim Shin Rok). Detectives stormed into the house and arrested Kim Myung Joon right in front of Choi Ro Hee, raising anticipation for the drama’s ending.
Amidst this situation, the newly released stills capture Kang Ha Neul staring at someone with a gentle smile. The dark room with not enough light and the pentagram-shaped lawyer’s badge on Kang Ha Neul’s lapel add to curiosity about his identity.
Kang Ha Neul reportedly decided to make a special appearance to support Kang Young Seok, a fellow actor from his agency who plays the role of Jayden.
The production team remarked, “Kang Ha Neul’s special appearance enriched the final episode. He will showcase his impressive acting skills through the unpredictable character who punishes evil. The intense pursuit of the truth will unfold until the end, so please stay tuned.”
The final episode of “The Kidnapping Day” airs on October 25 at 9 p.m KST.
