Jung Woo Sung has visited the memorial space for the victims of the Itaewon tragedy.
On November 11, a representative of Jung Woo Sung’s agency Artist Company confirmed, “The previous evening, Jung Woo Sung quietly visited the memorial space and mourned the victims.”
Jung Woo Sung was accompanied by Filippo Grandi, the commissioner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and other officials. Jung Woo Sung is currently active as a Goodwill Ambassador of UNHCR.
The agency remarked, “We were informed that he met the bereaved families on site and comforted them. He did not stay long. As he posted on his Instagram earlier, he feels very sorry for the tragedy that happened.” On November 2, Jung Woo Sung shared a tribute poem titled “I’m sorry, don’t forgive us” on his Instagram.
Previously on November 3, it was also reported that other celebrities including Hong Suk Chun, Lee Il Hwa, and Hwang Bo Ra also paid visits to the memorial to express their condolences to the victims.
