The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from May 11 to June 11.
BLACKPINK continued their reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,532,714 for June. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jennie,” “global concert,” and “mobile game,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “sexy,” and “diagnosed.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 85.07 percent positive reactions.
(G)I-DLE rose to second place in the rankings after seeing a 52.89 percent increase in their brand reputation index since last month, bringing their total score to 4,506,615 for June.
Meanwhile, NewJeans came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 4,462,729 for the month.
aespa rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 4,344,344, marking a 35.67 percent increase in their score since May.
Finally, TWICE rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,956,497, marking a 24.87 percent rise in their score since last month.
