JTBC’s “Beautiful World” is already gaining steam

According to Nielsen Korea, the April 5 premiere of “Beautiful World” recorded average nationwide viewership ratings of 2.2%, ratings for its second episode on April 6 is 2.93% nationwide (and 3.1% in the Seoul metropolitan area), marking a substantial increase from its premiere the night before.This is slightly less than the viewership ratings of the premiere and finale of its previous drama “Legal High,” which recorded 3.3% and 2%, respectively.

SBS’s “The Fiery Priest” continued to dominate its time slot. The April 6 broadcast scored average viewership ratings of 17.7 % and 19.4 % nationwide for its two parts, with a peak of 23.6 %. The drama performed even better in the Seoul metropolitan area, where it scored average ratings of 19.9 % and 21.6 % for the night.
