Gong Seung Yeon may be starring in a JTBC’s new drama

On April 8, Sports Chosun reported that Gong Seung Yeon was cast as the lead in JTBC’s new drama “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” (literal title), and a source from her agency BH Entertainment clarified, “She has received a casting offer and is positively reviewing it.”

“Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” is a fusion sageuk about a king who uses the help of matchmaking agency “Flower Crew” to protect his first love. Together, they transform the lowly woman Gae Ddong (meaning “dog excrement”) into a noblewoman and risk their lives planning a fraudulent marriage.

Kim Min Jae, Park Ji Hoon, and Seo Ji Hoon were previously confirmed to star in the drama..

Gong Seung Yeon will play Gae Ddong, a stubborn and rough girl who travels to Hanyang to find her brother. She is the first love of king Lee Soo, who becomes a king overnight.
