The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from December 13, 2023 to January 13, 2024.
SEVENTEEN rose to the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,157,072, marking a 21.78 percent increase in their score since December—and officially ending BTS’s uninterrupted streak of over five and a half years at No. 1.
High-ranking phrases in SEVENTEEN’s keyword analysis included “album,” “Golden Disc [Awards],” and “NANA TOUR,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “enlist,” “record,” and “reveal.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 83.78 percent positive reactions.
NCT shot to second place after seeing an impressive 105.32 percent rise in their brand reputation index since last month, bringing their total score for January to 4,064,501.
Meanwhile, BTS took third place with a brand reputation index of 3,677,975.
RIIZE came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 3,487,644, marking a whopping 113.15 percent increase in their score since December.
Finally, ZEROBASEONE rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,188,626, marking a 25.25 percent rise in their score since last month.
