On June 29, singer and actor Hwang Minhyun’s agency PLEDIS Entertainment released a statement through Weverse, requesting fans to refrain from visiting the sites of the artist’s privately scheduled activities such as the drama set.
Read the full statement below:
"Hello. This is PLEDIS Entertainment.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your support for Hwang Minhyun.
We would like to inform you that unauthorized visits to the artist’s unannounced events and/or scheduled activities (drama shooting, etc.) have increased in frequency, causing disruptions to site operations.
Unauthorized visits to filming locations have not only caused delays in shooting but unwanted spread of videos and photos of the project on social media, detrimentally affecting not only the artist but the drama production team.
In order to ensure a sound fan culture and protect the safety and rights of our artists, please refrain from visiting, residing, and/or filming at sites of unannounced scheduled activities.
Repeated unauthorized visits may affect your eligibility to join or retain the official Hwang Minhyun Global Fan Club Membership (Hwangdo Membership) and lead to partial or total revocation of membership benefits without prior warning. You may also be restricted from entering or participating in official events, also without prior notice.
We will continue striving to create a sound fan culture and protect the safety and rights of our artists.
We ask for your continued support and cooperation.
Thank you."
Hwang Minhyun’s upcoming drama with Kim So Hyun “My Lovely Liar” is gearing up for its premiere on July 31.
