JTBC’s “Family by Choice” has shared new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!

“Family by Choice” is a new JTBC romance drama about three people who reconnect after spending 10 years living together as a family and another 10 years living apart as strangers.

During their adolescence, Kim San Ha (Hwang In Youp), Yoon Ju Won (Jung Chaeyeon), and Kang Hae Jun (Bae Hyeon Seong) are raised together by Kim San Ha’s father Kim Dae Uk (Choi Moo Sung), and Yoon Ju Won’s father Yoon Jeong Jae (Choi Won Young).

Previously in “Family by Choice,” Kwon Jeong Hui (Kim Hye Eun), who left her son Kim San Ha ten years ago after blaming him for his younger sibling’s death, returned with her daughter So Hui (Kim Min Chae), whom she had with her new husband. Kim San Ha, who was reminded of his past wounds when she asked for his forgiveness, harshly rebuked her.

Kwon Jeong Hui provokes San Ha’s anger by not only outright telling him that his younger sister died because of him but also revealing her twisted desire to see him get along with So Hui, who resembles her deceased daughter So Jeong. Meanwhile, Kim San Ha’s half-sister So Hui expresses her affection for San Ha, adding to his confusion.

On the other hand, Kang Seo Hyeon (Baek Eun Hye) has caused emotional pain for her son Kang Hae Jun, who has waited for her for ten years. She suddenly left for Seoul after receiving an unexpected call and even borrowed money from her blind date, Yoon Jeong Jae. After that, she disappeared, leaving her son behind.

She unexpectedly shows up at Yoon Jeong Jae’s noodle restaurant and repays much more than she borrowed. Even after visiting her sister Kang Yi Hyun (Min Ji Ah), who had just given birth at the hospital, she still avoids meeting Kang Hae Jun. When he learns all this, he silently sheds tears. Viewers are curious about Kang Seo Hyeon’s real intentions, especially since she returned with a lot of money but hasn’t reached out to her son.
