Get ready for a fierce confrontation between Honey Lee and Lee Jong Won on MBC’s “Knight Flower”!
Set in the Joseon era, “Flower That Blooms at Night” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a woman who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly leading a double life: at night, she valiantly sneaks out to help those in need. Lee Jong Won stars as Park Soo Ho, a military officer who inadvertently becomes entangled with Jo Yeo Hwa.
On the previous episode of “Knight Flower,” it appeared as though Park Soo Ho might be getting closer to figuring out the identity of the masked woman he was chasing. As a result, Yeo Hwa—who kept crossing paths with the observant Soo Ho—was kept busy hiding her identity from him.
However, in the drama’s next episode, Yeo Hwa will personally seek out Soo Ho at the Capital Garrison’s office. It remains to be seen why Yeo Hwa, who was so determined to avoid running into Soo Ho, goes all the way to his office—but once she’s there, a tense confrontation unfolds between the two.
In newly released stills of their encounter, Soo Ho unsheathes his sword as he faces Yeo Hwa, who expertly defends herself while refusing to back down.
Describing the process of filming their fight scene, the “Knight Flower” production remarked, “Before filming this scene, Honey Lee and Lee Jong Won repeatedly rehearsed their movements and paid careful attention to the details. Please keep an eye on the results created by the two of them, who practiced over and over in order to bring this scene to life.”
They went on to add, “There will be a series of unexpected and refreshing incidents as these two characters become repeatedly entangled, so please stay tuned.”
To catch Honey Lee and Lee Jong Won’s thrilling fight scene, tune in to the next episode of “Knight Flower” on January 19 at 9:50 p.m. KST!
