Han So Hee Follows Up On Her Claim About Timing Of Ryu Jun Yeol And Hyeri’s Breakup

Han So Hee has responded to the backlash against her remark about Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri’s breakup.

On March 16, just one day after her agency initially denied the rumors of their relationship, Han So Hee personally confirmed in a lengthy blog post that she was dating Ryu Jun Yeol.

In her statement, Han So Hee claimed that she and Ryu Jun Yeol had only gotten together after his six-year relationship with Hyeri had already ended. She also alleged that Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol had broken up in early 2023, months before their breakup was first announced in November 2023.

However, many questioned this particular claim about the timing of Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol’s breakup, pointing to evidence that seemed to suggest the couple may still have been dating in the second half of 2023.

Later in the day, Han So Hee personally replied to several comments on her blog post, including one criticizing her for publicly making claims about the timing of her boyfriend’s breakup.

Han So Hee responded, “[What I said about] the timing of their breakup wasn’t something I heard personally [from Ryu Jun Yeol]. I wrote that based on an article from June of last year, but if it was out of line, I’ll delete it. I was trying to prove that we didn’t get together while he was still dating [Hyeri], but I think this was rude as well.”

However, this comment also came under fire due to the fact that, according to news outlet Xportsnews, there were no articles published in June about rumors of a breakup between Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol.

In another response to a different comment, Han So Hee wrote, “Rather than getting swept up in [what other people are saying], I am very much at fault in this incident. Starting with my Instagram story, I think I made a small matter snowball into something big.”

Meanwhile, Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency also stated earlier in the day that the actor had “gotten to know Han So Hee after his breakup” with Hyeri.
