Actor Gong Myung has been discharged from the military!
On June 13, Gong Myung conveyed his feelings through his agency Saram Entertainment, saying, “The military service period was a time when I could become more mature. I will greet viewers with great projects as an actor. I am really thankful for fans who have been waiting for me. I love you.”
Saram Entertainment CEO Lee So Young shared, “We plan to support actor Gong Myung so that he can be active both domestically and internationally. Thank you for sending lots of congratulatory messages and anticipating in his discharge from early on. Please show lots of interest for actor Gong Myung.”
Another representative of the agency remarked that Gong Myung’s next project has not been decided yet.
Gong Myung enlisted as an active duty solider in the army in December 2021 and was discharged after completing his mandatory service for about one year and six months.
Gong Myung debuted in 2013 through the web drama “After School: Lucky or Not” and built a solid filmography by appearing in various projects including the dramas “Melo Is My Nature” and “Lovers of the Red Sky” as well as the films “Extreme Job” and “Su Saek.” Recently, Gong Myung starred as Hwang Yeo Rae’s (Honey Lee’s) fan club member Kim Bum Woo in the film “Killing Romance” and received much love from viewers for his unique and pure charms.
