Girls’ Generation’s Yuri Shares Her Thoughts On The Conclusion Of “Jang Geum, Oh My Grandma”
Jan 26, 2019
MBC’s “Jang Geum, Oh My Grandma” recently released their final interview with lead actress Girls’ Generation’s Yuri.
The variety drama, which aired its final episode on January 24, is about the adventures of three siblings who live to eat.
“The drama is already over like this,” Yuri said. “We started filming when it was very hot and we ended when it was very cold. It was an honor to be able to play a lovable character like Seung Ah for a long time. I was happy to be working with a good cast and crew, and the set was always lively and fun so it felt good.”
In the drama, Yuri played the newest recruit of a sales team, Bok Seung Ah. “I was grateful to the staff for feeding me amazing dishes every episode for 16 episodes,” she said, picking noodles, grilled meat and eel, and kimchi as her favorite dishes.
She concluded, “I don’t know if I can ever meet a character like this again. I’m grateful to everyone who loved ‘Jang Geum, Oh My Grandma’ and I’d be happy if you continued to support me in the future. Goodbye, Seung Ah!”
