Mar 29, 2019
Hyeri is looking to make a drama comeback!
On March 29, a source from the drama industry stated that Hyeri will take on the female lead role in tvN’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Miss Lee” (tentative title).
“Miss Lee” will talk about an innovative workplace culture, where authoritative hierarchical relationships are destroyed and employees are respected by one another. Hyeri will reportedly take on the role of Lee Seon Shim, who started her career as a bookkeeper of a small company but has risen all the way up to becoming the company’s CEO.
In response, a source from tvN clarified, “tvN is reviewing to add [the drama] to the network’s program schedule for the second half of this year. Hyeri is positively reviewing an offer [to star in] the drama.” Hyeri’s agency has yet to respond.
If Hyeri confirms, she will be making her first drama comeback in a year and eight months. Her last drama was MBC’s “Two Cops” in 2017.
“Miss Lee” is set to premiere in September as the follow-up drama to “When the Devil Calls Your Name” (literal title). Han Dong Hwa of OCN’s “Squad 38” will direct the drama.
