JTBC’s “Doctor Cha” is now the drama with the fourth-highest ratings in JTBC history!
On May 14, the medical comedy drama starring Uhm Jung Hwa soared to its highest viewership ratings yet. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “Doctor Cha” scored an average nationwide rating of 18.0 percent (17.958 percent, to be exact) as it successfully remained first place in its time slot across all channels.
Not only did the ratings mark a new personal best for the show, but “Doctor Cha” has now overtaken “Itaewon Class” to achieve the fourth-highest ratings of any JTBC drama. At present, it has only been bested by the ratings juggernauts “The World of the Married,” “Reborn Rich,” and “SKY Castle.”
Meanwhile, tvN’s “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938″—the new sequel to Lee Dong Wook‘s hit 2020 drama “Tale of the Nine-Tailed“—rose to an average nationwide rating of 6.7 percent for its fourth episode, which took first place in its time slot across all cable channels.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” continued its reign as the most-watched program of Sunday, climbing to a nationwide average of 20.0 percent for its latest episode.
