“Crash Course In Romance” Premieres To No. 1 Ratings; “Agency” And “Payback” Hit New All-Time Highs

tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance” is off to a promising start!

On January 14, the new romantic comedy starring Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho premiered to an average nationwide rating of 4.0 percent. “Crash Course in Romance” also took first place in its time slot across all channels—even including public broadcast networks—among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned a nationwide average of 2.1 percent.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Agency” and SBS’s “Payback” both achieved their highest ratings yet last night. Lee Bo Young‘s new drama “Agency” rose to an average nationwide rating of 6.5 percent for its third episode, while Lee Sun Gyun and Moon Chae Won‘s “Payback” was the most-watched miniseries of the entire week with an average nationwide rating of 9.6 percent.

TV Chosun’s “Red Balloon” also earned its highest ratings to date for a Saturday, when its ratings are typically lower compared to Sundays. The hit drama scored an average nationwide rating of 6.7 percent for its latest episode.

With just two episodes left to go, MBC’s “The Forbidden Marriage” earned an average nationwide rating of 3.8 percent heading into the final week of its run.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Three Bold Siblings” continued its reign as the most-watched program of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 21.9 percent.
