Choi Hyun Wook has turned down the offer to star in director Lee Eung Bok’s upcoming drama “My Relationship That I Also Oppose” (working title).
On October 16, a source from Choi Hyun Wook’s agency GOLDMEDALIST shared, “It is true Choi Hyun Wook received an offer to star in the new drama ‘My Relationship That I Also Oppose,’ but we respectfully declined as his schedule did not align.”
“My Relationship That I Also Oppose” deals with the subject of whether a reunion with an ex is a continuation of a familiar relationship or the start of an unknown relationship. The drama is expected to relate the viewers through the subject of reuniting first loves.
Choi Hyun Wook previously captivated audiences through “Taxi Driver,” “Racket Boys,” “Twenty-Five, Twenty-One,” “Weak Hero Class 1,” and “D.P.” Season 2. Currently, he is starring as the lead of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Twinkling Watermelon.”
Lee Eung Bok is the director behind hit dramas including “Descendants of the Sun,” “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” “Mr. Sunshine,” “Sweet Home,” and “Jirisan.” Earlier in September, Go Min Si and Choi Hyun Wook were reported to be in talks for the drama.
