BTS’ Suga Tops Oricon’s Daily Album Chart + All The Tracks From “D-DAY” Enter Spotify’s Global Chart

BTS’ Suga is making a splash on music charts all over the world with his new album!

On April 22, Oricon officially announced that Suga’s first official solo album “D-DAY” had debuted at No. 1 on its daily album chart after selling 111,621 copies in Japan alone on the first day of its release.

Nearly all of the songs on “D-DAY” also made the top 20 of Oricon’s daily digital singles chart. Suga’s new title track “Haegeum” debuted at No. 3, followed by B-sides “Snooze” (featuring Ryuichi Sakamoto and The Rose’s Woosung) at No. 13, “HUH?!” (featuring J-Hope) at No. 14, “D-Day” at No. 15, “Life Goes On” at No. 17, “AMYGDALA” at No. 18, “SDL” at No. 19, and “Polar Night” at No. 20.

Additionally, all of the tracks on “D-DAY” debuted on Spotify’s daily Global Top Songs chart—and with the exception of “Interlude : Dawn,” every single song made it into the top 130.

“Haegeum” entered the chart at No. 11 after racking up an amazing 3,937,168 filtered streams on its first day, trailed by “People Pt.2” (featuring IU) at No. 22, “HUH?!” at No. 53, “D-Day” at No. 61, “AMYGDALA” at No. 66, “Snooze” at No. 94, “SDL” at No. 100, “Life Goes On” at No. 104, “Polar Night” at No. 130, and “Interlude : Dawn” at No. 154.

As of April 22 KST, “Haegeum” had also reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs chart in at least 90 different regions all over the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Brazil, and Australia.

Meanwhile, “D-DAY” sold over 1 million copies on the first day of its release—and set a new record for the highest first-day sales achieved by any solo album in Hanteo history.
