BTS’ Suga And IU’s Collab Tops Oricon’s Daily Digital Singles Chart + Debuts In Top 15 Of Spotify’s Global Chart

 

BTS’ Suga’s new pre-release track featuring IU is a hit all over the world!

On April 8, Oricon officially announced that Suga’s new song “People Pt.2” featuring IU had debuted at No. 1 on its latest daily digital singles chart (dated April 7).

“People Pt.2” also got off to a strong start on Spotify, where it debuted at No. 11 on the platform’s Global Top Songs chart after racking up an impressive 3,404,828 filtered streams on its first day alone.

Notably, the debut makes “People Pt.2” IU’s first song ever to enter the top 15 of Spotify’s global chart.

Additionally, “People Pt.2” has been dominating iTunes Top Songs charts across the globe, sweeping the No. 1 spot in 87 different regions within the first 20 hours of its release on April 7.

Meanwhile, Suga’s first official solo album “D-DAY”—the third and final installment in his “Agust D” trilogy—will be released on April 21 at 1 p.m. KST.
