Branding in Seongsu (2024) K Drama Episode 16

Mar 11, 2024

Branding in Seongsu Episode 16 picks up where the previous episode left off. After Jung-woo closes the light, Na-eon imagines a bunch of hands strangling her. After Eun-ho has had the opportunity to experience the sensation that Na-eon is experiencing, he promptly turns on the lights and goes to comfort her. When Jung-woo attempts to help Na-eon out, she asks him to leave.

The following day, since Na-eon and Eun-ho are themselves now, they get back to their initial roles. The catastrophe that Yu-mi caused results in Na-eon being appointed as the Manager of Team one, just like in the past. On the other hand, Eun-ho is a part of the underground team. Initially, the underground squad comes to the conclusion that they will be joining Na-eon in team one. However, Na-eon bursts their bubble and asks them to stay where they are. Additionally, Yu-mi is asked to join the underground team as well.

We see Na-eon distributing projects among the teams. She ends up giving the underground team a challenging motel project. On the other side, she decides to take full responsibility for a high-end project. Na-eon then gets in touch with HQ Motors’ executives since she is in charge of their brand management. Nevertheless, she finds out that Director Han had actually communicated with them in the past, and as a result, they were looking forward to working with him. Na-eon, on the other hand, does not withdraw from her position and instead tells them that she will take over the assignment. She then goes to meet with them.

On the other side, Eun-ho and the underground team go to the motel that has a questionable reputation. As soon as they step foot inside the motel, the atmosphere begins to resemble that of a haunted house. In the meeting with the owner, they propose that the owner should make some modifications. The owner, on the other hand, does not want them to make any modifications, and she requests that they leave.

Eun-ho then goes to the motel by himself after this has happened. At this point, he contacts Director Han. At the same time, however, he starts to hear bells about halfway through his conversation. On the other hand, Na-eon, who is currently engaged in a conversation with the executives of HQ Motors, also starts to experience a sense of foreboding. It is then revealed to us that Na-eon and Eun-ho have once again switched souls.

On one hand, Na-eon, who’s now in Eun-ho’s body ends up at the motel. We see the underground team help her. She also reads Eun-ho’s messages to Director Han. Following this, she requests that the underground team call it a day and finish their job for the day. At HQ Motors, on the other side, Eun-ho, who is currently inhabiting Na-eon’s body, is left feeling puzzled. In accordance with the instructions that he received from Director Han, he quits the project on behalf of Na-eon, and the episode comes to an end.

The Episode Review

Following their transformation into their true selves, Na-eon and Eun-ho return to their previous roles in episode sixteen. As part of the underground team, Eun-ho is working on a project involving a motel. On the other hand, Na-eon takes up a premium project for herself. It is clear that Eun-ho appears to be keeping a secret, which Na-eon is getting very close to finding out.

In the same vein as the episodes that came before it, this one is quite chaotic, and the plot is not particularly interesting. Even if we are getting closer to the finale of the show, it does not appear that the show has piqued our interest in regard to the murderer. It appears as though the show is losing its focus on the primary plot while simultaneously delving into the secondary plots and the supernatural aspect that has been included. This does not appear to be beneficial to the show.
