Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its chart rankings for the week of April 2 to 8!
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo achieved a double crown on this week’s Circle charts, topping both the physical album chart and the Global K-Pop chart with her solo debut album and its title track.
Jisoo’s first single album “ME” spent its second consecutive week at No. 1 on the album chart, followed by trot singer Park Seo Jin’s “Spring Dreams” at No. 2 and MAMAMOO+’s first single album “ACT 1, SCENE 1” at No. 3.
Over two months after its release, TXT’s latest mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” shot back up to No. 4 on this week’s chart, while Apink’s new mini album “SELF” debuted at No 5.
IVE also achieved a double crown on this week’s Circle charts, topping both the overall digital chart and the streaming chart with their hit pre-release track “Kitsch.”
“Kitsch” remained No. 1 on the overall digital chart for the second week in a row, while Jisoo’s solo title track “FLOWER” shot up to No. 2.
NewJeans swept the next three spots on the chart, with “Ditto” at No. 3, “Hype Boy” at No. 4, and “OMG” at No. 5.
The same five songs topped the streaming chart in almost exactly the same order, except “Ditto” and “FLOWER” swapped spots to take No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.
Jisoo’s “FLOWER” rose to No. 1 on this week’s Global K-Pop Chart, while BTS’s Jimin’s solo title track “Like Crazy” held onto its spot at No. 2.
NewJeans’ “OMG” stayed strong at No. 3, wth FIFTY FIFTY’s “Cupid” (Twin Version) rising to No. 4 and IVE’s “Kitsch” holding steady at No. 5.
Lim Young Woong continued to sweep the top two spots on the digital download chart, taking No. and No. 2 with his hit songs “London Boy” and “Polaroid” respectively.
Jimin’s “Like Crazy” climbed to No. 3 on this week’s chart, while his pre-release track “Set Me Free Pt.2” rose to No. 5.
Finally, BTS’ Suga’s pre-release track “People Pt.2” featuring IU (and released under the name Agust D) debuted at No. 4 on the chart.
BLACKPINK successfully defended their position at No. 1 on the social chart this week, while Jisoo charted separately at No. 2.
BTS came in at No. 3 for the week, followed by NewJeans at No. 4 and Jimin at No. 5.
