The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual girl group members!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 655 girl group members, using big data collected from July 20 to August 20.
NewJeans swept the top three spots on this month’s list, with Minji, Hanni, and Haerin rising to No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 respectively. All five of the group’s members ranked in the top six, with Hyein and Danielle climbing to No. 5 and No. 6 for the month.
Minji’s brand reputation index for August came out to 8,167,123, marking an impressive 119.25 percent increase in her score since last month. High-ranking phrases in Minji’s keyword analysis included “Super Shy,” “Billboard,” and “Jamboree,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “lovely,” “cute,” and “adorable.” Minji’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 90.8 percent positive reactions.
Hanni’s brand reputation index jumped by a staggering 216.87 percent to a total of 7,539,878, while Haerin’s score saw a whopping 236.38 percent increase for a total of 6,419,829.
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,782,995, marking a 42.36 percent rise in her score since July.
Finally, Hyein’s brand reputation index for August came out to 3,907,256, marking a 227.86 percent increase in her score since last month.
