ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo has decided not to star in the upcoming crime series “Bulk” (literal title).
On March 28, Cha Eun Woo’s agency Fantagio shared, “While Cha Eun Woo was discussing his appearance in ‘Bulk,’ he has decided not to appear.”
Back in January, Cha Eun Woo was revealed to be in talks to star in “Bulk” after Fantagio confirmed that he had received an offer for the project.
“Bulk” is a crime series in which a police officer, a fixer who is a part of the field’s mainstream, and a prosecutor team up to pursue dark forces against the backdrop of Gangnam at night. The drama is helmed by director Park Noo Ri of “Money” and stars Jo Woo Jin while Ha Yun Kyung is in talks to star as a prosecutor.
Cha Eun Woo’s latest drama “Island” concluded earlier this month and he is set to star in upcoming webtoon-based drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” (working title), which will premiere later this year.
