JTBC’s upcoming drama “Just One Person” (literal translation) has released photos from the cast‘s first script reading!
“Just One Person” is an emotional romance drama about three terminally ill women who meet at a hospice. They decide that before they die, they want to take down one bad guy before they go – but in their attempt to take down “just one person,” they wind up meeting the most valuable person of their lives.
The released photos show off the actors’ chemistry and passion from their script reading. Ahn Eun Jin stars as Pyo In Sook, a stubborn and insensitive woman who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. During the reading, she showed 200 percent synchronization with Pyo In Sook and effectively portrayed her character with her calm and stable acting.
Kim Kyung Nam plays the male lead Min Woo Chun, a mysterious hitman who has walked a painful and difficult path in life. Kim Kyung Nam faithfully transformed into his new role with his solid acting skills. In particular, Ahn Eun Jin and Kim Kyung Nam impressed the cast and crew with the way they depicted the romance between Pyo In Sook and Min Woo Chan.
Kang Ye Won showcased her outstanding acting skills through her new character Kang Se Yeon, a housewife who is between life and death. The actress will blow life into Kang Se Yeon and make viewers sympathize with her tough situation.
Red Velvet’s Joy takes the role of Sung Mi Do, a famous influencer who doesn’t have long to live. With her detailed acting and determined voice, she illustrated Sung Mi Do’s complex emotions.
The script reading was also filled with passionate acting from the other cast members including Go Doo Shim, Jang Hyun Sung, Baek Hyun Jin, Lee Soo Mi, Do Sang Woo, and Ahn Chang Hwan.
The drama’s producers commented the energy, “The energy was unique as it was the first [script reading] of actors who deeply understood the drama’s purpose to convey a lot of comfort through stories that we imagined what would happen if we faced our death. It was a time when we could check the sincerity of the drama’s cast and crew. We will do our best to ensure that the video will be filled with all of their sincerity and energy. “Just One Person” is currently scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2021.
