Actress Koo Bon Im Passes Away After Battle With Cancer

Koo Bon Im has passed away at the age of 50 (in Korean reckoning) from nasopharyngeal cancer.
She was reportedly treated for more than a year, but unfortunately, she passed away on April 21 at 4:50 a.m. KST.
Her family stated, “A year ago, she said she was sick, but she thought it was rhinitis. It turns out she had nasopharyngeal cancer. She was treated for more than a year, but it didn’t work out. After much suffering, she passed away.”
The burial site is set up at Incheon Shillakwon Funeral Home, and her funeral will be held on April 23.
Koo Bon Im received much love for her performance in plays, movies, and dramas. She is known for her works “Secrets, Objects,” “I Am the King,” “A Werewolf Boy,” and “My Lovely Family.” Her latest works were “Warm and Cozy” and “Bring It On, Ghost.”
