tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “He Is Psychometric” stars GOT7’s Jinyoung, Shin Ye Eun, Kim Kwon, and Dasom in a whirlwind storyline of mystery, romance, and great detective work.
Jinyoung plays Yi Ahn who has supernatural psychometric powers, where contact with bodies or objects gives him insight into their memories. As his power gives him the utmost advantage, he is able to perform his detective work in the most efficient manner. Simply touching a concrete wall, broken objects, and even bodies gives him clues that allow the observation of the mystery as a whole.
So far, Yi Ahn has discovered with his powers the identity of Kang Sung Mo’s (Kim Kwon) mother Kang Eun Joo (Jeon Mi Sun), the message left behind in the building where Yoon Jae In (Shin Ye Eun) is kidnapped, and clues regarding the history of the basement where Kang Sung Mo and Kang Eun Joo were confined. Although Yi Ahn receives a lot of shock and trauma from these situations, his perseverance is what allows him to grow and become stronger.
Yoon Jae In, a police officer played by Shin Ye Eun, uses her sharp brain and precise reasoning skills to find clues. In order to ensure that there aren’t any victims who will be hurt by unfair investigations like her, she does not act without thinking and makes sure to carry out investigations with much detail and accurately as possible. In the previous episode, while looking over case records all night, she tracked down the identity of Kang Geun Taek (Lee Seung Joon) as well as the area she believed to be his hideout.
Additionally, she has the ability to help Yi Ahn cope with the pain of his psychometric powers and associated victims, allowing them both to grow and mature.
Detective Eun Ji Soo, played by Dasom, handles investigations in a “no looking back” manner. Especially with her obligation to achieve justice, even in situations like the 2016 Hanmin Nursing Home case which was quickly closed, she pointed out and refuted many unclear points. When she found out that her father Eun Byung Ho (Uhm Hyo Sup) tried to conceal the truth about the Youngsung Apartment incident from 2005, she still showed determination to unveil the truth and help out Jae In, whose father is being painted as the criminal.
As she sadly sets aside her feelings for Kang Sung Mo, Ji Soo shows professionalism in doing so and provides strong support for Yi Ahn and Yoon Jae In, as well as viewers who join in and help to solve their investigations.
