Get ready for the premiere of “A Good Day to Be a Dog”!
Based on a webtoon, “A Good Day to Be a Dog” is a fantasy romance drama about Han Hae Na (Park Gyu Young), a woman who is cursed to transform into a dog when she kisses a man. However, the only person who can undo her curse is her colleague Jin Seo Won (ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo), who is afraid of dogs due to a traumatic event he can no longer remember.
Ahead of the premiere, the drama shared three reasons to anticipate the show!
“A Good Day to Be a Dog” follows the unique story of a woman who is cursed to turn into a dog when kissed. The curse has been passed down generationally to Han Hae Na, and after coincidentally kissing her prickly co-worker Jin Seo Won, Han Hae Na transforms into a dog every night. In order to undo the curse, Han Hae Na has to kiss Jin Seo Won while she is in her dog form, but Jin Seo Won is extremely afraid of dogs due to childhood trauma. Despite being so different from one another, the two will gradually help each other heal through their heart-fluttering romance.
“A Good Day to Be a Dog” features diverse breeds of dogs to capture the hearts of all pet lovers. Not to mention, leads consisting of Cha Eun Woo, Park Gyu Young, and Lee Hyun Woo have all received great attention for their puppy-like appearances. Viewers are also looking forward to the performance of Finna, the adorable dog who will play the role of Han Hae Na when she transforms into a dog.
Furthermore, the drama will captivate with its unique supporting characters including Hae Na’s older sister Han Yoo Na (Ryu Abel) and her friend Song Woo Taek (Jo Jin Se), Hae Na’s uncle (Kim Hae Joon) who also transforms into a dog, the vice principal (Yoo Seung Mok), and more.
The true nature of Lee Bo Kyum (Lee Hyun Woo) draws further curiosity. Behind his gentle smile is a character with completely different charms. Viewers will be uncertain whether he is out to help Han Hae Na and Jin Seo Won fall in love or to prevent their romance.
“A Good Day to Be a Dog” will air its first two episodes on October 11 at 9 p.m. KST and will be available on Dramacool. Stay tuned!
