On June 17, Cube released an official statement sharing the news of the expiration of their exclusive contract with Jo Kwon as below:

We would like to officially inform you of information regarding Jo Kwon’s exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment.

After sufficient discussion with our artist Jo Kwon, our exclusive contract [with Jo Kwon] ended as of June 17, 2024.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Jo Kwon, who has been active in various fields with constant passion and overflowing energy under our agency since 2018.

Cube Entertainment will always support Jo Kwon, who will begin a new journey.
