On March 25, reports emerged that Yoon Kyun Sang might appear in the upcoming OCN drama “Mr. Fixed Term” (literal translation). His agency Popeye Entertainment responded to the reports by stating, “It is true that Yoon Kyun Sang is currently favorably looking over the offer to appear in the drama. However, he hasn’t made his final decision yet.”
If Yoon Kyun Sang does appear in the drama, he is set to take on the role of a highly successful lawyer who falls from grace because of one case. He becomes a fixed term teacher at a high school that is tied to that case in order to regain his honor. Though he goes into the classroom for selfish reasons, he begins to see the crimes that take place and he takes matters into his own hands to help protect victims from their peers.
The drama will shine a spotlight on the reality of teenagers facing little to no repercussions after committing a crime because they are teenagers, providing no protection for those who become a victim to these crimes. The drama is slated to begin airing on OCN in July.
If he accepts the role, this will be Yoon Kyun Sang’s first drama in five months since the end of his last drama, JTBC’s “Clean with Passion for Now.”
Stay tuned for more updates!
