Yeo Jin Goo Portrays Himself As Both A Goofy Clown And Burdened King In “The Crowned Clown”
Dec 19, 2018
tvN’s upcoming drama “The Crowned Clown” released new stills of Yeo Jin Goo, in which he shows off different sides of him as both a clown and a king!
“The Crowned Clown” will tell a story about a king who hopes to escape from the threats of those who want him dead. In order to do so, he brings in a clown that could pass as his twin to take over his seat. Yeo Jin Goo previously confirmed to take over the roles of both the king Lee Heon and the clown Ha Seon.
The audience is thrilled to find out how Yeo Jin Goo will distinguish the king from the clown as they share nothing in common except for their appearances.
In the stills, Yeo Jin Goo manages to portray two completely different vibes. The first two stills feature the actor conveying a warm image with his bright smiles and playful expressions. In the picture where he is giving a piggyback ride to his younger sister, he brings out the tender-hearted brotherly look that is every woman’s dream.
On the other hand, Yeo Jin Goo as a king portrays something on the contrary. As the king, Yeo Jin Goo seems rather scared and looks like he carries much burden on his shoulders. Despite his attempt to relax by taking a bath, he still looks concerned and even depressed. With his unbuttoned shirt and drowsy eyes, you can even say that he reveals the sexy side that we couldn’t quite see with him as the clown.
The production team of “The Crowned Clown” commented, “Yeo Jin Goo’s ability to act as two different people is on a different level. As the filming goes further, the actor is adding more depth into his acting. Please look forward to our upcoming drama. Thank you.”
“The Crowned Clown” will premiere on January 7, 2019 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
