Won Ji An Reported To Star In “Squid Game 2” + Agency Briefly Comments

Won Ji An may be joining the star-studded cast of “Squid Game 2”!

On June 28, JTBC reported that Won Ji An will be starring in Netflix’s upcoming “Squid Game 2.”

In response to the report, Won Ji An’s agency stated, “We cannot confirm whether Won Ji An will be starring in ‘Squid Game 2.’ Please kindly understand.” Netflix also shared that they cannot confirm.

“Squid Game 2” is gearing up to kick off filming after confirming the return of Season 1 cast members Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, and Gong Yoo as well as new cast members Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, and Yang Dong Geun. While Netflix has yet to confirm on the female cast members, Jo Yu Ri, Park Gyu Young, and Kim Si Eun are also reported to potentially star in the upcoming series besides Won Ji An.

Won Ji An debuted through Netflix’s “D.P.” in 2021 and appeared in both Seasons 1 and 2 of “Hope or Dope.” The actress is currently appearing in KBS2’s “Heartbeat” as the female lead.
