MBC has celebrated the top dramas and actors of 2023!

On December 30, the 2023 MBC Drama Awards took place to honor the network’s dramas from the past year.

This year’s Daesang (Grand Prize) went to Namgoong Min for his performance in “My Dearest,” which won Drama of the Year and swept a total of nine awards at the ceremony. This marks Namgoong Min’s second time winning the Daesang at the MBC Drama Awards following his win in 2021 for “The Veil” and third time total with his win at the 2020 SBS Drama Awards for his performance in “Stove League.”

Excellence Award (Miniseries): Bae In Hyuk (“The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract”), Park Gyu Young (“A Good Day to Be a Dog”)

Excellence Award (Short-Form or Daily Drama): Lee Hyeon Suk (“Game of Witches”), Jeon Hye Yeon (“Meant to Be”)

Best Character: Kim Jong Tae (“My Dearest”)

Best Couple: Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin (“My Dearest”)

Best Supporting Actor: Choi Young Woo (“My Dearest”), Cha Chung Hwa (“Kokdu: Season of Deity”)

Best New Actor: Kim Moo Joon (“My Dearest”), Kim Yoon Woo (“My Dearest”), Park Jung Yeon (“My Dearest”), Joo Hyun Young (“The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract”)
