WINNER Launches Weverse Fan Community

WINNER has joined the global fan community platform Weverse!

On October 18, YG Entertainment shared, “WINNER opened a fan community on Weverse. They plan to respond to the steady love of INNER CIRCLE (fandom name) and express their gratitude on a closer level.”

Weverse is a global fan community platform launched by beNX, a subsidiary of Big Hit Entertainment. Following, BLACKPINK, iKON, and TREASURE, WINNER is the fourth YG group to launch Weverse.

Back in January, Big Hit Entertainment decided that the company will make a 30 billion won (approximately $27 million) investment in YG PLUS while beNX will invest 40 billion won (approximately $36 million). The investment lays the groundwork for a strategic collaboration between Big Hit Entertainment, beNX, and YG PLUS, in which they’ll be cooperating in the various fields of business conducted by the companies, including platforms, distribution, and content.

YG Entertainment stated, “Kang Seung Yoon and Song Mino are active in various fields, and Lee Seung Hoon and Kim Jin Woo, who are performing their national defense duties, are nearing their discharge, so we are looking forward to their group activities.”

Song Mino and Kang Seung Yoon will be holding their online solo concerts on November 19 and November 21, respectively.
