Weki Meki makes summer comeback to thank fans

Weki Meki revealed this colorful teaser image for the group's comeback album, "WEEK END LOL."

Girl band Weki Meki will make a summer comeback on Thursday to celebrate its second anniversary and thank fans for their support.

The comeback album, "WEEK END LOL," is a repackaged version of the group's second single "LOCK END LOL."

On Wednesday, the band revealed colorful teaser images ― group and individual photos ― in a cheerful "summer crush" concept.

The album's title song is "Tiki Taka (99 percent)," which is a common football term in Korea that means short passing and movement. As the band is known for synchronized performances, the powerful melody of its title song increases excitement surrounding the new choreography.

Weki Meki will hold a fan meeting, "Weki Meki 2nd Wonderful Moment ~PICNIC~," at Ilchi Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, on August 10.

The eight-member girl band of Fantagio debuted on August 8, 2017, with the mini-album "WEME." Before then, two members ― Choi Yoo-jung and Kim Do-yeon ― debuted in the project girl band "I.O.I" from the first season of Produce 101.
