Wedding Impossible (2024) K Drama Episode 6

Mar 17, 2024

Wedding Impossible Episode 6 picks up where the previous episode left off. A-jeong can be seen racing in the direction of Ji-han’s umbrella. At this point, we watch her slipping, and he manages to catch her. After this, he is drenched in the rain since he isn’t using the umbrella that he had brought with him.

As we have seen in previous episodes, Ji-han has an unpleasant memory when it comes to experiences with rain. Nevertheless, when he is attempting to help A-jeong, he almost completely forgets about it.

It is then that we find out that Ji-han has concluded that he has developed feelings for A-jeong. He is shown working extra hours, spending time on his hobbies, practicing meditation and yoga, and trying everything in his power to escape his thoughts, including praying to get himself to stop thinking about A-jeong. All of these things are done in an effort to avoid his feelings. Additionally, when A-jeong attempts to check on him as he got wet in the rain, he doesn’t respond to her messages.

We then see A-jeong visiting Ji-han and Do-han’s home. Do-han and her are seen having a conversation regarding the possibility of introducing their families to each other. We then see Ji-han walk into the room and he ignores A-jeong. A short time later, A-jeong goes to his room to have a conversation with him about the matter. On the other hand, he informs her that he will not be present at the family gathering and that he does not wish to see her. It is clear that this gives A-jeong the impression that she has upset him in some way.

Following that, the scene switches to the gathering of the families. We witness the gathering of Do-han and A-jeong’s families to discuss the couple’s impending marriage. In addition, Ji-han attends the gathering despite having previously told A-jeong that he would not be present. During the conversation that is taking place between the two families, we can notice a significant difference between the two. Do-han’s family is affluent and out of touch with reality, except Do-han’s grandfather Dae-ho. On the other hand, A-jeong’s family is laid-back and grounded.

During the meeting, Dae-ho reveals to A-jeong’s family that they have been withholding information about A-jeong’s identity from various media outlets. A-jeong’s family interprets this as Do-han’s family looking down on A-jeong and her family. On the other hand, Ji-han intervenes at this point and reassures them that the underlying purpose of this is to ensure that A-jeong is protected. Furthermore, he chooses to advocate for A-jeong throughout his conversation.

Shortly after, A-jeong’s family leaves to go home after the gathering. A-jeong, on the other hand, decides to stay back and meet Ji-han in private. She then goes on to question him about showing up at the gathering, since he told her he wouldn’t. After that, he explains to her that he did it to demonstrate his backing for the marriage. He then hands her a token of his approval and leaves.

The Episode Review

In the sixth episode, Ji-han comes to the realization that he has feelings for A-jeong, and as a consequence, he begins to ignore her. We see Ji-han push himself to his limit to suppress his feelings for A-jeong. To discuss their upcoming wedding, Do-han, and A-jeong’s families get together. Interestingly, Ji-han takes A-jeong’s side during a disagreement at the family gathering. Furthermore, Ji-han gives his approval for A-jeong and Do-han’s marriage.

The narrative of the show continues to be interesting, entertaining, and packed with a great deal of drama. The show effectively establishes a connection between our protagonists while making use of the enemies-to-lovers trope. The show began with Ji-han disliking A-jeong. However, throughout the course of the past few episodes, they have grown increasingly closer. To make matters more complicated, Ji-han feels guilty for having feelings for his brother’s fiance, not knowing that their relationship is fake. Furthermore, the addition of the will they, won’t they factor makes sure that the show is entertaining to watch.

Having said that, as I noted previously, the characters in the show appear to have weak goals, and they take immature approaches to dodge situations. This is especially true in Do-han’s case, who’s getting married to his best friend in order to avoid getting married to another woman to protect the other woman’s feelings, not realizing that he’s putting his best friend in a sticky situation. Additionally, A-jeong goes along with this illogical solution for a weak motivation that just doesn’t make sense. It’s also unclear why Do-han won’t just tell his grandfather the truth, who has been incredibly supportive of him for a while.

As we are just six episodes into the show, we are hoping that things will pick up for the show. As the show progresses, it will be fascinating to watch the direction that it takes.
