Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok’s new variety show has unveiled a hilarious first teaser!
On April 12, SBS’s upcoming variety show “Whenever There’s a Chance” (literal title) shared a preview of an unlikely companionship between Yoo Jae Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Lee Kwang Soo.
“Whenever There’s a Chance” is a variety show where the hosts visit ordinary citizens during their brief moments of free time, aiming to sprinkle a bit of luck into their lives. The show is a collaboration between PD Choi Bo Pil of “Running Man” and writer Chae Jin Ah of “Siren: Survive the Island.” This marks Yoo Yeon Seok’s debut as a variety show host following his successful appearances on Yoo Jae Suk’s YouTube show.
The teaser kicks off with the cast members chanting Yoo Jae Suk’s name on site of their first filming. Yoo Yeon Seok creates laughter by boldly pawning off introducing the program on to Yoo Jae Suk and showing off his skills of snatching the toast that Yoo Jae Suk cuts.
Meanwhile, Lee Kwang Soo glares as he watches the friendly vibes between Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok. Lee Kwang Soo, who has the title of Yoo Jae Suk’s former partner and current guest, reveals his ambition to threaten Yoo Yeon Seok’s position as the program’s MC from the first episode. When Yoo Yeon Seok sarcastically tells Lee Kwang Soo, “You’ve had a lot of benefits already,” Kwang Soo claps back, “What benefits?” leading to a tense war of nerves.
