Watch: SM Entertainment Introduces 2 SM Rookies To Join NCT’s New Team

SM Entertainment has introduced two new SM Rookies!

Last month on May 24, after announcing Sungchan and Shotaro would leave NCT and debut in a new boy group, SM Entertainment revealed their plans to also launch a new NCT team and a new girl group all within this year.

At the time, SM Entertainment CEO Jang Cheol Hyuk announced that the new NCT team would be the last chapter of NCT’s expansion and that the agency would soon announce two new SM Rookies of Japanese and Korean nationalities who would be joining the team. (Other members will be chosen through a pre-debut reality show.)

On June 28 at 6 p.m. KST, SM Rookies finally shared the first teaser videos of the two new members on their official social media accounts. The first member is Yushi and the second member is Sion.
