ENA’s upcoming romance drama “Dear Hyeri” has unveiled a new character poster and short-form drama clip!
“Dear Hyeri” is a healing romance drama that revolves around Joo Eun Ho (Shin Hye Sun), an announcer who develops dissociative identity disorder following the disappearance of her younger sibling and her breakup with her longtime boyfriend Hyun Oh (Lee Jin Wook).
The newly released poster and short-form drama teaser focus on Joo Eun Ho, who was once a famous anchor couple with her colleague Jung Hyun Oh while publicly dating for eight years but now has a hostile relationship with her ex.
In the character poster below, Joo Eun Ho affectionately embraces a man’s arm. Her smile radiates the happiness of a woman deeply in love. The text that reads, “Because I love you,” hints that the person she is arm-in-arm with is Jung Hyun Oh, revealing that the poster depicts a time when they were in love.
On the contrary, the short-form drama teaser video captures the past and current story of Joo Eun Ho. The clip kicks off with the tagline, “You still love me, don’t you?” and shows the heart-fluttering times when Joo Eun Ho and Jung Hyun Oh were together. In response to Joo Eun Ho’s cute and silly question, Jung Hyun Oh sweetly replies, “I like you more than the vacuum cleaner, and I like you more than the news,” giving a glimpse into their love.
However, the atmosphere changes in the next moment. The two are assigned to co-host a live news broadcast together. Joo Eun Ho expresses her anger to the boss, saying, “Why are you pairing up two people who have broken up?” However, the text that reads, “He seems to hate me so much that it looks like he actually likes me,” follows, sparking curiosity about how their love-hate romance will unfold in the future.
“Dear Hyeri” is set to premiere on September 23 at 10 p.m. KST. Stay tuned for Jung Hyun Oh’s short-form drama story!
