ENA’s “Dear Hyeri” has unveiled new character posters and a teaser ahead of the premiere!
“Dear Hyeri” is a healing romance drama that revolves around Joo Eun Ho (Shin Hae Sun), an announcer who develops dissociative identity disorder following the disappearance of her younger sibling and her breakup with her longtime boyfriend Jung Hyun Oh (Lee Jin Uk).
Shin Hae Sun will play dual roles as Joo Eun Ho, a veteran announcer with zero presence, and Joo Hye Ri, a parking lot attendant. Lee Jin Uk stars as Jung Hyun Oh, a popular announcer, while Kang Hoon plays the single, innocent announcer Kang Joo Yeon. Jo Hye Joo portrays junior announcer Baek Hye Yeon with a one-sided crush on Kang Joo Yeon.
The new character poster shows Kang Joo Yeon leaning against someone with a relaxed smile. The blue background, resembling a calm ocean, highlights Joo Yeon’s distant gaze and gentle smile. The caption, “I keep thinking about it because it’s the first time,” hints at Joo Yeon’s charming romance. The poster also raises questions about the meaning of the flowers, butterflies, and small notebook featured on someone’s back.
Another character poster depicts Baek Hye Yeon with a bright pink background. Leaning against someone, she confidently gazes at the camera. The pink flowers and butterfly enhance the vibrant energy of the image. The caption, “Sunbae! I have two hearts,” contrasts with the lead character’s composed demeanor and showcases Hye Yeon’s dynamic charm.
The newly released short-form teaser focuses on Joo Yeon, who has forgotten what happiness feels like. In the video, Hye Yeon asks Joo Yeon, “What’s your wish, sunbae?” and Joo Yeon replies, “My wish is for the Earth to be destroyed,” highlighting his quirky personality. Hye Ri’s voiceover then explains, “He’s unfriendly, but he’s kind only to his own people,” while Joo Yeon is shown helping to push a colleague’s car in the parking lot.
In the next scene, Hye Ri confesses, “Hello, Announcer Kang Joo Yeon, I really liked you,” prompting Joo Yeon to urgently search for her, marking the beginning of their encounter. Meanwhile, Hye Yeon, who has been observing, confidently remarks, “Kang Joo Yeon has a girl now,” as Hye Ri and Joo Yeon meet happily in the parking lot. When Hye Ri greets Joo Yeon with a “Hello, Joo Yeon,” he responds with a bright smile, replacing his usual neutral expression, and sparks excitement for their developing romance.
