TVING’s “Death’s Game” has unveiled a new teaser and stills ahead of the premiere!
Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Death’s Game” tells the story of a man who gets more than one second chance at life after facing death. Park So Dam will play the role of Death, who sentences a man named Choi Yi Jae (Seo In Guk) to 12 cycles of life and death.
In addition to Seo In Guk and Park So Dam, the drama’s star-studded cast includes Kim Ji Hoon, Super Junior’s Choi Siwon, Sung Hoon, Kim Kang Hoon, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Do Hyun, Go Yoon Jung, Kim Jae Wook, Oh Jung Se, and more.
The newly released stills introduce Go Yoon Jung as novelist Lee Ji Soo who was dating Choi Yi Jae since their college days. While living in despair following Choi Yi Jae’s death, Lee Ji Soo coincidentally meets Jang Gun Woo (Lee Do Hyun), who is Choi Yi Jae in a different body.
In the photos, Choi Yi Jae and Jang Gun Woo have conflicting attitudes toward Lee Ji Soo. Choi Yi Jae’s gaze is saddened as he decides to part ways with his girlfriend after continuous failed attempts at job hunting, while Jang Gun Woo cannot hide his heart-fluttering excitement to stand in front of Lee Ji Soo again, making viewers wonder how Lee Ji Soo’s emotions will change as well.
Furthermore, the new teaser begins with Jang Gun Woo welcoming a customer who is none other than Lee Ji Soo. Jang Gun Woo stays frozen in place as he watches Lee Ji Soo walking in, and the teaser flashes back to a moment from the past where Choi Yi Jae and Lee Ji Soo hug as Choi Yi Jae says, “I only love you.” Lee Ji Soo proudly remarks, “This is my boyfriend.”
The teaser goes further back in time to when Choi Yi Jae and Lee Ji Soo first meet. While walking on an overpass, a gust of wind blows the pages of Lee Ji Soo’s novel “First Love” away and down onto the ground where Choi Yi Jae picks up the fluttering pages. Viewers are curious to find out what changes Choi Yi Jae’s death will cause and whether Lee Ji Soo will recognize Choi Yi Jae in Jang Gun Woo’s body.
“Death’s Game” will premiere on December 15.
