Watch: Park Min Young Struggles With Juggling 2 Fake Husbands In “Love In Contract” Teaser

Sep 4, 2022

tvN has shared a new sneak peek of its upcoming drama “Love in Contract”!

“Love in Contract” is a new romantic comedy about a service that provides fake wives for single people in need of partners to bring to social gatherings, such as school reunions and dinners for married couples.

Park Min Young will star as professional fake wife Choi Sang Eun, who finds herself caught between longtime client Jung Ji Ho (Go Kyung Pyo)—with whom she has a long-term exclusive contract for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—and newcomer Kang Hae Jin (Kim Jae Young), who wants to sign a contract with her for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Thursdays.

The newly released teaser begins with a montage of Choi Sang Eun pretending to be married to numerous clients, as she explains in voice-over, “Whatever their reason, there was a flood of singles in need of a wife, and what they needed was a professional.”

The clip then introduces Choi Sang Eun’s latest clients: the mysterious Jung Ji Ho, whose identity remains a well-kept secret, and the A-list idol-turned-actor Kang Hae Jin. When someone asks Choi Sang Eun whether her long-term fake husband Jung Ji Ho knows about her identity, she defiantly retorts, “He hides his identity even more than I do!”

On the other hand, the teaser raises intriguing questions about the nature of Kang Hae Jin and Choi Sang Eun’s relationship. After Kang Hae Jin announces in public, “I’ve fallen in love,” Choi Sang Eun later asks him in private, “I’m not your first love or anything, am I?”

After years of a fake marriage, romantic tension begins to build between Choi Sang Eun and Jung Ji Ho. When the couple gets unexpectedly close while doing the dishes, he asks her, “Are you afraid of me?” Jung Ji Ho then catches Choi Sang Eun off guard by unexpectedly calling her “yeobo” (a Korean term of endearment for one’s spouse) in front of Kang Hae Jin. The shocked Choi Sang Eun repeats, “…yeobo?”

“Love in Contract” premieres on September 21 at 10:30 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Dramacool. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
