JTBC’s upcoming drama “18 Moments” has revealed a new behind-the-scenes clip of its main cast members!
“18 Moments” is a coming-of-age drama about 18-year-olds, taking a realistic look into the moments of their lives. Ong Seong Wu will take on the role of Choi Joon Woo, a lonely 18-year-old boy who has a hard time expressing his emotions but has an unexpectedly odd and cute charm. Kim Hyang Gi will play the model student Yoo Soo Bin, who is raised under a mother who controls every aspect of her life and lives without a dream. Shin Seung Ho will appear as Ma Hwi Young, who appears perfect on the outside but holds darkness within him, bringing gravity to the drama.
During a shoot for the drama’s main posters, the actors gathered together in both casual wear and school uniforms to portray the youthful energy of the show. After shooting a few photos and being instructed by the director to lean in towards each other, the actors couldn’t help but chuckle at how awkward they felt.
When asked about their first impressions, the actors hesitated before bursting out laughing. Ong Seong Woo commented, “I knew this would happen!” He then recounted his first time meeting Kim Hyang Gi, describing how the directors and staff had left the script reading room one-by-one until he was left alone with the actress. Because of the sudden awkward situation, they asked each other questions such as, “So, did you read the script?”
As they continued to take photos, the awkward atmosphere continued to linger. The trio revealed that although they had previously agreed to use informal language, they had ended up reverting back to using formal language the very next day.
Although the actors were not completely comfortable around each other, they continued to work hard to get the best shots for the posters.
