Watch: Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri’s Young Love Blossoms In New “Twenty Five, Twenty One” Teaser

A new teaser for the upcoming drama “Twenty Five, Twenty One” has been released!

The drama is set in 1998 and features Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri as the lead characters Baek Yi Jin and Na Hee Do. The pair first meets when they are 22 and 18 years old. respectively, and then once again when they are 25 and 21. Throughout the drama, their friendship blossoms into a romance, and they experience confusing yet exciting feelings as their first love develops.

The new teaser opens with a shot of Baek Yi Jin forming his hands in a square shape as if he’s looking for the perfect shot to take with a camera. “In the middle of summer, we were there,” he says in the background narration. As quick beach shots of Baek Yi Jin and Na Hee Do appear on screen, the words, “As we face each other smiling, it feels as if we’re the only two people in the world,” adorn the bottom of the frame. The teaser continues, and Baek Yi Jin can be seen walking through a crowd of people and approaching Na Hee Do. The text on the screen reads, “No matter where you are, I’ll go to reach you.” As the pair drives together in a red convertible, the words at the bottom read, “I hope there are more moments of laughter with you.” Finally, the teaser ends with a shot of the two smiling at each other as the title appears on the screen.

“Twenty Five, Twenty One” is written by Kwon Do Eun and directed by Jung Ji Hyun, who previously worked together on “Search: WWW.” It is set to premiere on February 12 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
