“O’PENing 2024” showcases projects by new writers from CJ ENM’s O’PEN initiative. Following “The Otaku’s Daughter” (literal title), the second project in the series will be “Mi Ran of the Junkyard.”

“Mi Ran of the Junkyard” centers on Mi Ran (Im Se Mi), a junkyard owner, who searches for the owner of a stray dog found in her yard. Alongside, she handles a challenging customer, Jin Goo (Lee Si Woo), who visits daily with empty soju bottles. The series is a heartwarming romance that delves into the true meaning of love.

While Mi Ran might seem like a character for a noir, she actually fits better in a romance. Jin Goo’s bold and unpredictable nature adds a unique and exciting twist to the romance. This dynamic is expected to bring a fresh excitement to viewers.

The newly released poster shows Im Se Mi and Lee Si Woo standing together in the junkyard where their story begins. The poster offers a fresh take on the typical junkyard image, with the protagonists’ bright smiles adding a warm touch.
