tvN’s upcoming drama “The Killer’s Shopping List” released a hilarious new teaser!
Based on the novel of the same name by Kang Ji Young, “The Killer’s Shopping List” is a comedy-mystery thriller about an ordinary neighborhood on the outskirts of Seoul. When a mysterious body is found in the vicinity of an apartment building, a supermarket receipt becomes a key piece of evidence that kicks off an entertaining hunt for the killer.
Lee Kwang Soo will star in the drama as Ahn Dae Sung, the son of supermarket owner Han Myung Sook (Jin Hee Kyung). Although he was once considered a genius with impressive memorization skills, his life took a turn for the worse due to an incident that took place at his mom’s market when he was 10 years old. AOA’s Seolhyun will star in the drama as Ahn Dae Sung’s girlfriend Do Ah Hee, a passionate police officer who has only had eyes for him from a very young age. When a body is discovered near an apartment building, Do Ah Hee steps up to catch the culprit herself.
The new teaser previews a precarious situation in Ahn Dae Sung and Do Ah Hee’s relationship. In a meeting with Do Ah Hee’s father (Park Chul Min), Ahn Dae Sung confidently states, “I haven’t been doing anything,” brazenly revealing that he is unemployed. Do Ah Hee is unable to hide her boiling rage as she furiously chops a pineapple in half. Unaware of Do Ah Hee’s feelings, Ahn Dae Sung continues to act playfully and tries to make her laugh.
However, Ahn Dae Sung shows another side of himself as he puts his extraordinary observation skills, memory, and reasoning abilities to use. Although he comically uses a helium balloon to change his voice in order to file a report as a law-abiding citizen, Ahn Dae Sung gets serious as he begins to analyze supermarket goods such as a stretchy stocking and snack items.
Furthermore, Ahn Dae Sung somehow becomes a suspect for a murder. His mother Han Myung Sook claims, “I’m going to crush you,” raising questions about the mystery that will unfold in the upcoming drama.
“The Killer’s Shopping List” will premiere on April 27 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out the full teaser below!
