Upcoming romance drama “Serendipity’s Embrace” has released a new highlight teaser!

Based on a popular webtoon, “Serendipity’s Embrace” will tell the story of young people finding true love and their dreams after accidentally running into their first love from 10 years ago. Kim So Hyun stars as Lee Hong Joo, an animation producer who is afraid of love due to painful memories from her previous relationship—and who undergoes an unexpected change after running into Kang Hoo Young (Chae Jong Hyeop), who witnessed some of her lowest moments from her past.

The newly released teaser video begins with Kang Hoo Young’s narration, “How many coincidences do we encounter during our lives?”

At a restaurant, Lee Hong Joo brightly greets someone, “Are you here for a blind date?” The person takes off his sunglasses and replies in surprise, “Lee Hong Joo?”

The two continue to meet each other on several occasions by chance. Kang Hoo Young asks Lee Hong Joo, “Think again carefully from now on. Are we really just friends?” making viewers’ hearts flutter.

“Serendipity’s Embrace” premieres on July 22 at 8:40 p.m. KST and will be available on Dramacool,
